Getting Ready for the arrival

I thought I would take the opportunity to have a big sort out in the garage, this included getting rid of my old race shell, something I have been putting off for years – I just couldn’t bear to see it go after everything I had put into it…..but time moves on

As I am getting the whole kit in one package I realised that I would need a lot more room in the garage, so the I took the decision to sell my bike, not such a hard decision to make as I have only ridden it to the MOT station and back this year, a massive total of 30 miles!!!

With the arrival date getting closer I spent the weekend painting the floor in the garage and fitting some extra lights, the race car finally saw the light  of day for the first time in 2 years.

I have been speaking with Chris from MNR and my kit is ready for collection, I have booked the van and will be collecting all my bits on the 24th January.

It won’t leave me much time to get it built in time for an SVA test rather than the IVA but I will be giving it a go!

25th January

Well after a 4.20am start and a 580 mile round trip the kit is actually sitting in my garage, I was amazed how much stuff there actually was.  I hadn’t thought that the bodywork would take up the other side of the garage completely, but that is something I will have to work around……and now the fun starts!!!
