Welcome to my MNR Vortx RT+ build Blog

After deciding to build an MNR I thought I would start a Blog, I can then look back during the bad times of the build and see what progress I have already made!! (if any)

After giving up racing my trusty old Peugeot 205 GTI due to the arrival of my fantastic children, I have spent the last few years wondering what I could do next.

I helped my father-in-law build a Gardner Douglas Cobra Replica about 6 years ago and always fancied building something myself.  I did think about a Cobra replica but i have always been interested in the ‘7’ style cars (especially after my first trackday many many moons ago when they where driving round the outside of me!)

So I decided that it was time to start getting my hands dirty again and started the search for a suitable kit.
